The terrace garden overlooking the large office area with the cantilever roof provides a peaceful atmosphere for coffee breaks and creates a green background for the employees.
The Siemens Gamesa office has a very complex building automation system to reduce the energy consumption of the building. In the office spaces, lighting system is automatic dimed with the sensors during the day to provide best light level for the employees. As part of the building automation system sunshades rotates and opens by measuring the external light level. One of the other benefits of the building automation technologies is that system collects and stores the rainwater to be used in toilets and watering plants. Automated smoke hatches, which also serve as skylights, located on the roof of the production and warehouse halls, provide abundant natural light for the work environment and allow for fresh air circulation inside the halls during the year without any energy consumption.
